Spring or Summer, this homemade birthday card idea will make you say, “WOW”! It’s a beautiful way to express birthday wishes with an easy card to make.

Spring or Summer is probably my favorite two seasons with all of the flowers in bloom.  And today I am bringing you a very easy homemade birthday card idea that you can make quickly!  The Bundle I am using is called Blossoms in Bloom and I love it because the stamp and dies fill up the whole card!  My card is easy and quick but you can certainly step it up and add more!

Daffodil Delight and Basic Black always go together!  So striking!  This card was made the same way as the Poppy Parade one on my video.  The tip I shared on the video will help you make as many of these as you need them.  Leave off the sentiment and add that for the occasion as they come up!  Birthdays, Thank You, Thinking of you, etc!

I did not stamp the flowers on this card.  I simply used both of the dies and cut out the outline with Calypso Coral and the thicker one with Petal Pink.  Giving you a very soft card for just the right female!  Change it up with any color combination that is your favorite!

I am happy that I have three of these already made because I have a large family and need Birthday cards all of the time!  My favorite thing to do is put them with an envelope that is addressed and put them in a box that has the months labeled on them so that I am ready when life gets busy!  Like when I move!  I have always felt that I am organized and not a hoarder by any means but finding a home for all of my stuff has been challenging!  I am sure it will all come together soon, right?

Homemade Birthday Card Measurements:

  • Whisper White Thick Cardstock – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Whisper White Cardstock – 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic Black Cardstock – 1/2″ x 2 3/4″, snip into banner shape with snips and a scrap piece big enough for your die cut flowers
