Healing Hugs Get Well Card Inspiration

Fun Folds Cards· Gallery· Uncategorized

2 Aug

My Healing Hugs Get Well Card Inspiration card came from a swap I received from fellow demonstrator Marie on my Alaskan Cruise. I will say it again I have enjoyed being inspired by my Alaska Cruise Swap cards!  It is so inspiring to create your own version of a card whether you see it on a blog, Pinterest or YouTube!

I loved the fold but since I didn’t have the directions I had to figure it out.  You can watch my video below to see my process.

Here is my Inspiration card; I loved the fold but since I wanted to use Healing Hugs Stamp set my card needed to be created differently due to the size of the stamp.

As you can see my card front features the stamping yet my card still folds and opens the same way my Inspiration card did!

Stamp Rose with Daffodil Delight Ink on the Whisper White Cardstock – 3 3/4″ x 5″ layer

Use a Mask as I did on the video to stamp your leaves with Coastal Cabana Ink

Sentiment is stamped with Coastal Cabana Ink in top right corner

Wrap the ribbon around the bottom of the Whisper White Cardstock – 3 3/4″ x 5″ layer and adhere on the back with Snail

Add the Whisper White layer to the Crushed Curry Layer with Snail

Attach both layers to the front of the card with Snail

Adhere all four pieces of DSP to the flaps with Snail

Make sure you use a bone folder to really crease your folds as this is a bulky card and you want it to lay flat.
