Introducing My Million Dollar Stamp Set: “Happy Place” Beach-Themed Stamp for Cardmaking Techniques

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I always say the beach is my happy place! So when it came time to design my very own Million Dollar Stamp Set with Stampin’ Up! after reaching $1 Million in career sales in August 2023, I knew exactly what I wanted: a beach scene stamp set that felt relaxing, joyful, and full of creative possibilities!

The stamp set is called “Happy Place”—and once you see it, I think you’ll agree it truly captures the heart of a tropical escape. 🏖️ Palm trees, ocean views, and a scene that brings a peaceful, sandy getaway right to your paper crafting table.

The Inspiration Behind the “Happy Place” Stamp Set

My inspiration came from a photo I snapped during a trip to Hawaii—a beautiful beach with swaying palm trees and crystal blue skies. I wanted to take that peaceful memory and turn it into a stamp set for cardmakers that could be used in so many ways.

But I also wanted it to be a technique-friendly stamp set—one that works beautifully with different coloring tools. When I first started stamping decades ago, one of my favorite techniques was using Stampin’ Up! water-based markers to color directly onto rubber stamps, then stamping onto glossy cardstock. That technique still brings me joy, and it inspired the design and style of this set!

How to Use the “Happy Place” Stamp Set

The beauty of this set is its versatility. You can:

  • Color directly on the stamp with markers for a soft, blended look
  • Use Blending Brushes or Sponge Daubers for stunning sunsets and ocean skies
  • Try the Baby Wipe Technique for custom ink blends
  • Stamp on cardstock with Memento Ink and color with Stampin’ Blends markers
  • Add heat embossing for extra dimension
  • Pair it with other sentiments from your stash

I’ve been experimenting with all kinds of ways to use this beach stamp set—and today I’m sharing some of my favorite results!

I even got my nails done to match the stamp set! I hope that all of the ideas below inspire you!

Whether You’re a Beach Lover or Technique Junkie…

If you love cardmaking techniques or want a relaxing, beachy stamp set that brings good vibes, “Happy Place” is for you. I poured my heart into every detail, and I can’t wait to see what you create with it!

My internet went out when I was demonstrating the last Technique using Watercolor Pencils. Here is what I was working on. I used the Blender Pens to smooth out the pencil marks.
