Gone Fishing! But First I Made This Awesome Guy Card

Gallery· Masculine Cards· Mystery Stamping Cards

19 Jun

Need a guy card that you can make quickly? Try this layout with any designer series papers and stamps that you have on hand. But….after I show you the products I used to make this card I have a feeling you’ll be adding this suite to your wish list!

Good things come to those who wait, right?! That’s how the saying goes anyway. I’ve been waiting to play with the Stampin’ Up! Gone Fishing bundle and the Let’s Go Fishing designer paper. Patience is key when it comes to fishing; hopefully, good things do come to those who wait! While I’m waiting I’m gonna make a card, LOL!

I always need a great masculine card for the guys in my life so I’ll use this layout again and again with other papers and stamps that I have on hand.

Guy Card: Quick & Easy Video Tutorial

This stamp set has a stamp that reads, “Good things come to those who wait” I have heard this my whole life but I didn’t know where the saying came from. I did a little bit of research and found it’s an English proverb used to describe the benefits of waiting patiently rather than rushing into something. By waiting, one, in theory, increases their chances of something good happening to them. I found this on PoemAnalysis.com.

Definitely applies to fishing as it’s one of those sports you have to be patient in. But, when it comes to this guy card we only need a few minutes of patience!

Will you use the Gone Fishing set for your guy card or another set? Share your plans with me!!

You can make other guy cards for the fishermen in your life too–Father’s Day, retirement, and congratulations just to name a few.
