How to Apply Gold Leaf Flakes to Make an Amazing Greeting Card

Gallery

14 Jan

Talk about gorgeous! Gold leaf flakes take your paper craft projects up a notch. Today I’m going to teach you how to use gold leaf flakes and make a beautiful card at the same time.

The Fine Art Floral Designer Series Papers are pretty enough to frame! And on one of my cards I did just that. The ‘Art Gallery’ Stamp set by Stampin’ Up! is so easy to use and makes beautiful flowers on greeting cards and scrapbook pages.

Since Stampin’ Up! brought back the ‘Heat and Stick Powder’ I couldn’t wait to apply gold leaf flakes to make a beautiful Wedding card! I’ve got all the how-to’s you need to know in the video tutorial; you’ll find using the gold leaf flakes super easy.

Gold leaf flakes really make this handmade Wedding Card extra special.

Beautiful card with scrapbook paper as the focal point and framed by embossed cardstock.
I have said it many times before…Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Papers are pretty enough to frame. So I did!
Die cut words on top of designer paper on this handmade card.
Quick and Easy card to say anything that you want!
I used the gold leaf flakes on this focal flower that I die cut and placed on top of designer paper.
I love how the Golden Garden matches the Fine Art Floral DSP. I laid it on top and cut both pieces at one time!
Handmade Greeting Card with floral paper and ribbon.
Super Easy to make too. The two step flowers were stamped (1) use large solid image, ink up and stamp off once (2) use outline image full ink strength!
You can use the gold leaf flakes on tear n' tape; this works on many paper craft projects.
Super fun way to add the Gold Leafing…I used Tear and Tape. You can use the Seal+ as long as you get a straight line like I showed in the video!
