Fancy DIY Christmas Card: Quick and Easy

Christmas Cards· Gallery· Uncategorized

8 Sep

Who doesn’t love a fancy card…especially when it’s quick and easy?! Today I’m sharing a fancy DIY Christmas card quick AND easy that your friends and family will oooh and aaahh over!

I bet you can guess that, like many of my other recent cards, this card features copper in the designer series paper and a copper embossed sentiment.

This handmade Christmas card features the Joyous Noel specialty designer series paper which has copper in it. The copper foil give the card a fancy diy look but all you have to do is cut the paper to size!

Some basic card instructions/measurements:

After cutting the Joyous Noel designer paper to 5 1/4 X 4 adhere it to an A2 size card base (5 1/2 X 8 1/2 Scored at 4 1/4). Then, take a scrap piece of whisper white, swipe the cardstock with you embossing buddy, stamp your sentiment using versamark, cover with copper embossing powder and heat set.

You can then cut the sentiment and a copper layer using the layering oval framelits. Watch the video for easy-to-follow-along instructions.
