I was inspired to make this Falling for Leaves Stampin’ Up! card after finalizing plans for my husband and I to visit my daughter, Whitney, and son-in-law, Tyler in Connecticut and Vermont in October! Tyler has researched to see when the best time for us to visit would be because my bucket list has included a trip to New England in the Fall to see the changing of the leaves!
I will share those amazing pictures that I am sure I will take, but for now enjoy my card!
Corrugated Embossing Folder is a bold and very detailed folder that easily makes this a manly card….or the perfect handmade greeting card for any occasion really.
Since the leaves are layered here is what I stamped and cutout using the Framelits.
Copper Metallic Thread really adds a nice touch to this card and you can add as little or as much as you want. On my video I share how I loop and secure the thread. The sentiment layer measures: Very Vanilla 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ and the Copper is 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″.
As I mentioned on my video when I first cut the Very Vanilla layer 4″ x 5 1/4″ I felt it was a little too short to fit on the card base that measures 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ so when I did the video I cut the Very Vanilla 4″ x 5 1/2″

Here is the version with the Copper leaf added to it which I feel is my favorite way to make this card!
Copper leaf makes this Fall Greeting Card even more special!
