I’ve got easy shaker cards you’ll want to make! If you’ve been wanting to learn how to make a shaker card then now is the perfect time. Everyone loves handmade Christmas cards but think about how excited they will be when they see how interactive this card is!
Shaker cards are a big hit with my grandchildren! They will love this one with the Snowflake Sequins! The Feels like Frost Specialty Designer Series Papers were perfect for my projects today!
Bonus Project Gift Box: It’s so fun when your card matches the gift box and that is what I did! As you watch on the video you will see how I made the card and the gift tag using Itty Bitty Christmas!
Shaker cards are easy to make using Window Sheets and Foam Strips! Use any stamp set you have and either Rectangle Stitched Dies or any other Shapes Layering Dies you may have such as ovals, circles or squares!
Sharing some other ideas with you today using First Frost Bundle and Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper
I had to give a Belt Buckle fold a try and it was way easier than I thought it would be. Stay tuned for more projects with this fun fold!

As you can see the card below looks a lot like my first card on my post except I stamped on the DSP in the center instead of using cardstock!

Measurements
- Whisper White Thick Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored and folded at 5 1/2″
- Feels like Frost DSP – 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Window Sheet – (2) cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies as I showed on the video
- Night of Navy Cardstock – scrap to cut with Dies
BOX Measurements
Lid – 6″ x 6″, scored at 1″ on all sides
Bottom – 8″ x 8″, scored at 2″ on all sides
I did not show how to make this box on this video since I have shown it recently. However I have a huge tip for you. When making the box cut just about 1/8″ of inch off on two sides only to make the box lid fit better!
