Double-Sided Designer Paper Card: The Benefit of Stampin’ Up! Paper Packs

Card Making Ideas· Cards for Friends· Gallery· Mystery Stamping Cards· Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers

10 Jun

There are benefits to using double-sided designer paper in card making, and although I’m a little biased, I have to say that Stampin’ Up!’s designer series paper is some of the best on the market. Their paper packs, in many cases, are like getting two for the price of one because it’s double-sided, color coordinated, and often a blend of patterns, images, and textures that mix and match perfectly.

The vibrant colors and lemon motifs in the Mediterranean Blooms Suite from the new Stampin’ Up! catalog immediately brought back memories of my trip to Sorrento, Italy. It’s a place overflowing with sunshine and citrus, just like some of the pages in this stunning double-sided designer paper in this suite! The paper I chose for today’s card captures the essence of the Mediterranean perfectly, with some papers resembling tiles, some with florals, and some with juicy lemons!

In Sorrento, Italy, lemons were everywhere, and everything had lemon on it or in it! I bought this little bowl and small lemon soaps, and they’re in my guest bathroom to this day!

Another great feature to this double-sided designer paper? I was able to die-cut the branch of lemons from the paper making this card super quick and easy!
