DIY Get Well Tissue Box Card

Gallery· Uncategorized

20 Nov

You will need tissues for this one, but not because you are crying! I’ve got an adorable DIY Get Well tissue box card with a step by step video tutorial. This is the perfect handmade card  to send to someone who’s not feeling well and it will spread some cheer!

I was inspired to make this after trolling on Pinterest for a new fold.  While this isn’t considered a fold the tissue box is so stinking cute I had to try it. Plus, sadly, it’s the season of year where I’m sure I will need plenty of  Get Well Soon card ideas!

What inspires you?  Colors?  Displays at a store?  Fabric?  Inspiration can come from anywhere!

DIY Get Well Tissue Box Card

As you can see this won’t fit in a regular envelope but perhaps a padded one.  My thought was that the best way to deliver this Get Well Soon Card would be in person along with a meal.

As you will see on the video, you will need to cut off part of the tissue as it won’t all fit in the box.  Make sure that you tuck all of the tissue inside because if any touches the adhesive the box will not stay attached to the card front (ask me how I know that!)

Enjoy the DIY Get Well Tissue Box Card Video!

Using the Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder and the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Papers makes this card not only beautiful but sturdy!  The designer paper (scrapbook paper) held up nicely for the tissue box.
