Ready to see some die cutting magic? I’m going to show you how to layer for a gorgeous handmade card. Perfect for friends or to say ‘hello’ to anyone.
This card making tutorial also has a nifty paper saving trick too! I love playing with the these gold die cut embellishments and building my wreath on my card. It’s so simple to make cards or scrapbook pages this way!
To go along with my die cutting magic leaves I decided the brass foil sheets would be fun to add to the mix of this gorgeous card. Of course they went great with the Gold Hoops.
Before you get started cut out a bunch of leaves at one time and then you’ll be able to ‘build’ with this die cutting fun more quickly.
I love how the gold cord from the ‘Forever Greenery’ combo added the extra special touch with this bow.

The die cutting above was with brown inks Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand. This was actually the first card I made!
Both the card above and card below are very similar but you will find as you make these cards no two turn out the same which I loved!
The card below needed something so I added the 3/8″ Embroidered Ribbon to the cluster of leaves.

- Whisper White Thick Cardstock – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
- Colored Layer – 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Whisper White Layer – 3 3/4″ x 5″
