Crossover Gate Fold Card: How To Add Charm To Your Greeting Card

Fun Folds Cards· Gallery· Mystery Stamping Cards

11 Apr

This crossover gate fold card is easy to make & I’m excited to teach it to you! If you love fun folds, you’ll enjoy making this greeting card.

To start you need some cardstock, designer series or scrapbook paper, and your imagination! The secret is to choose the paper you want to work with, coordinating cardstock, and then the stamps!

You may find you love the crossover gate fold card so much that you will use it over and over again! It’s unique but easy and doesn’t take long to make!

Since there are 2 flaps you will need to be mindful of adding die cuts or anything that sticks out.

The Crossover Gate Fold Card below is what I created for my Monday Mystery Stampers! I gave them clues to follow to make a card using Designer Series Paper on the front flaps instead of cardstock.

Just Jade is one of the retiring 2020-2022 InColors that I will be sad to part with!

I love the ‘stamped off’ look on the greeting layer. To accomplish this you ink your stamp, stamp onto a scrap piece of paper and then stamp onto your cardstock for a more subtle look and color tone.

I love the bright colors on this Crossover Gate Fold? Bright & cheerful which is what a Birthday should be!

Not only are the InColors retiring, but there are also a LOT of other products retiring. These products go fast and sometimes fly off the shelf in hours of being announced they are on the retirement list so grab the items you really want. Sale ends May 2, 2022 or while supplies last!
