How To Make A Fun Center Pop Out Card

Cards for Friends· Fun Folds Cards· Gallery

30 Mar

Create a beautiful center pop-out card with this simple and fun tutorial. With step-by-step instructions and a video to follow along with, you’ll be able to make impressive cards in no time….and for any occasion!

This center pop-out card reminds me of an old bi-panel accordion door in our travel trailer. The card fits perfectly on display and fits in our standard A2-sized envelope. The featured products for today’s card are from Stampin’ Up! Playing in the Rain Suite Collection.

Pay close attention to the measurements of this card because they are a bit different than what you are accustomed to.

Aside from the featured card I have a couple of other cards to show you so you see how versatile this bundle is.

Center Pop-Out Card Video Tutorial:

In addition to the Rain or Shine Suite collection, I used the Framed Florets and the Layering Circles Dies. I also pulled Silver Foil Specialty paper because it coordinated with the raindrops so well. Wondering where I used the layering circles? Maybe it’s on the center pop-out?! The video will answer the mystery!

What occasion will you make your Center Pop Out Card for? Will you use this same suite of products? Share your thoughts and plans with me!

There is plenty of room to write your message on the inside of the pop-out card!

Add Dimensionals to the paper strip on the right side to keep the fold in place.

Card 2:

After I made the center pop-out card I kept on making cards with this bundle including a Birthday card for a grandchild!

The stamped raindrops, coloring the fox with Stampin’ Blends, and cutting him out were all quick and easy to do. I popped up the fox with Dimensionals too.

Card 3:

For this last card I die-cut the turtle from the designer series paper. Notice his cute little red bow and the butterflies? Those are all from the die set. I let the designer paper do the rest of the work on this card.
