Cards For Guys: 3 Easy Designs With Stampin’ Up! Campology

Birthday Cards· Gallery· Masculine Cards

23 Feb

Are you looking for some easy cards for guys? The Stampin’ Up! Campology set is perfect for making some rugged, camp-themed cards that your special guy will surely appreciate. It’s so nice when we can make a handmade card to celebrate the special guys in our life and these 3 easy hand-stamped designs will give you inspiration and ideas for how this set can be used.

I only have one son that goes camping but I feel like these cards will work even for the non-campers.

Tent Stamp Focal Point Card For Guys

For this first card I used the tent stamp as my focal point and masked it off so that I could stamp the trees around it. I the small blending brushes to color the inside portion of the tent with Daffodil Delight ink and the light Soft Suede Stampin’ Blend to color the outer portion of the tent.

Such an easy-to-make card that is perfect for the guys!

Want to add a more masculine feel to your card? Add some score lines on the front of the card base 1/2” apart from each other.

To add the grass to my card I used a blender pen, picked up color from the stamped trees and shaded some grass around the tent.

Lantern Focal Themed Card For Guys

To Make This Lantern Card…..

  • On an Old Olive card base stamp trees as shown with Old Olive ink
  • On the Very Vanilla layer, use blending brushes to apply Crumb Cake Ink lightly around the edges
  • Stamp the lantern in Early Espresso ink; color the light with Daffodil Delight marker
  • Use blender pen to color the outline portion of the lantern.

Tree-Themed Birthday Card

For a masculine tree-themed card, stamp the trees from the Campology set on the left side of a basic white layer of cardstock. Next, stamp the ‘Happy Birthday’ greeting on the right side. You can trim the cardstock layer down if you need to and then add it to an Evening Evergreen cardstock layer that is 1/8” to 1/4” larger than the white. Add these layers to your card base with dimensionals. It’s a simple card for guys you can make quickly!
