Card Making Techniques Vol 10

Card Making Techniques· Gallery

14 Jul

Card Making Techniques Vol 10 introduces 5 new techniques. Learn all 55 techniques in this series perfect for card making and scrapbooking.

When I shared my 1st card with a fellow stamper who came over for dinner last night she was like “Oh my gosh, that’s an old technique! Remind me, was it hard?” Nope! It’s super easy and I can’t wait to show y’all!

The Card Making Technique Series was designed to show you new techniques (or remind you of the old ones) and show you how to store them all in one place to create a reference resource.

Technique #1 Salt Background Technique

💥 What’s your favorite technique or the one you are most excited to try from card making techniques vol 10? I’m anxious to read your thoughts!

Technique #2 Bubbles Background Technique

Balmy Blue ink refill used to blow billowy looking clouds!

Be a kid again and blow bubbles! You need liquid soap, a straw, and some water! Then have fun with any color of ink refill!

Technique #3 Torn Edge Background Technique

Blending brushes used in assortment of ink colors to make a quick & easy card background.

The Torn Technique was probably one of the first techniques I learned over 25 years ago when I first started stamping.

Technique #4 Embossing Technique (Cardstock + Vellum)

Card making vol. 10 also includes this elegant embossing technique. Pour the emboss powder over and use a heat tool and watch the magic happen!

I used my new ‘Snow Crystal’ Stamp to demonstrate the embossing card technique.

Don’t miss the video tips that show you how to emboss the Snow Crystals Snowflake on the Starry Sky Cardstock. There are tips for embossing on vellum too.

This card will be great to make for Christmas. The snowflake is so big it takes up the entire front of the card.

Technique #5 Splatters Background Technique

Do you ever want to add just a little something to your handmade cards?

I demonstrated 3 different tools to add the splatter technique to your background:

  • Water Painter
  • Toothbrush
  • Spritzer (the straw part of the sprayer)
