Can You Believe Handmade Fall Cards Are This Easy To Make?

Gallery· Thank You

3 Aug

Can you believe the fall season is just around the corner? I’ve got some fall cards and ideas you can make easily.

I’ve got 3 cards to show you today that feature the Stampin’ Up! Gorgeous Leaves Stamp set and coordinating dies. I’m also going to show you how to die cut leaves from copper foil cardstock–my favorite!

For my first fall card I pulled a sentiment from the new stamp set ‘Pretty Pumpkins’.

I love the sentiment, “so thankful for you’ –a great time for me to remind all of you how Thankful I am for YOU! Those of you who visit my blog, watch my YouTube videos, order from my website….the list goes on. It’s because of you that I do what I do (like sharing the tutorial for these new fall cards) and I LOVE what I do!

Before we dive into the fall cards, I want to remind you that the NEW MINI CATALOG & SALE-A-BRATION KICKS OFF TODAY! If you don’t have your catalog yet I’d be happy to send you one. Request your catalog today!

Fall Cards | 3 ‘Thankful’ Card Design Ideas

Looking for fall paper craft ideas or ways to say ‘Thank You’ throughout the season? Try these fall card ideas–these cards are also great masculine cards too which I know y’all are always asking for.

If you are reading this in an email, click here to view on the web.

Which of These fall cards was your favorite? I’d love to hear!

Stamp the leaves on the left side of your cardstock in:

  • Bumblebee
  • Merry Merlot
  • Cajun Craze

Grab some Copper Foil and die cut the leaves. You can add them as desired to your card.

I love all the soft colors in the designer paper! This paper is also from the new Mini Catalog and it’s called ‘Harvest Meadow’ so obviously perfect for your fall cards!

I used the branch die in the Gorgeous Leaves bundle and then added my small leaves in all the beautiful autumn colors!

Last, I used a small strip of Copper Foil behind the sentiment label. I used the ‘Label Me Lovely’ Punch for that.

Of course I couldn’t resist using the Bark 3D Embossing Folder. Add some stamped leaves and top of the cluster with some die cut leaves from the copper foil cardstock.

Bonus Tip: Cut the copper foil leaves from the sentiment layer to stretch how far your foil will last!

    Hi Sharon,

Love these fall cards. I can’t seem to be able to find the link to the tutorial/measurements. Is there any chance you could point me in the right direction? I clicked the link for m the you tube video and landed here. I am sure it is probably in front of my nose I just don’t see it.

    Thanks.
    Natalie
