My Best Tips for Using Stampin’ Up! Delightfully Detailed Specialty Paper are here!

Today I’m making this ‘Happy Birthday, Let’s Celebrate’ card with this elegant but very easy to use delightfully detailed specialty paper. This laser cut paper makes the most beautiful cards and note cards. It’s for so many occasions too–birthday cards, handmade wedding invitations, anniversary….I could go on and on!

Since I am sharing two versions of this card on today’s post I am giving you the supplies to make both!

Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper Birthday Card Supplies: (that’s a mouthful but that’s the name of the paper!)

·      STAMPS – Detailed with Love Bundle (w-148327 c-148328)

·     PAPER –Whisper White (100730), Very Vanilla (101650), Poppy Parade (119793), Gorgeous Grape (146987), Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (146907)

·     INK – Versamark (102283), White Craft Ink (147277)

·     OTHER –Layering Ovals Framelits (141709), White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (109132), Heat Tool (129053), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Snail (104332), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stamping Sponges (141337)

Card Cutting and Scoring Directions:

Poppy Parade – 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored and folded at 4 ¼”, scrap for Oval

Laser-Cut Paper – one of the large sheets of flowers and leaves

Whisper White  or Very Vanilla – scrap for ovals

Card Instructions:

Laser-Cut Paper – cut a corner of one of the large sheets of flowers and leaves as shown on the video.  Use the card base to eyeball how much of the flowers and leaves to cut off with snips

Take your Silicone Mat and squeeze out some Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the back of the Laser-Cut flowers

Use a quarter piece of the Stamping Sponge to add the Mulipurpose Liquid Glue to the back of the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut paper

Add the Laser-Cut flowers to the left side of the Poppy Parade or Gorgeous Grape card base

Stamp Thank You with White Craft Ink on the Poppy Parade scrap or

Stamp Happy Birthday and looped image with Versamark ink on the Gorgeous Grape scrap

Pour White Emboss Powder over and heat set

Cut out sentiment with Oval

Cut scalloped Oval with Whisper White scrap or Very Vanilla Scrap

Add the White Oval to the Poppy Parade oval with Snail

Next, add the Very Vanilla Oval to the Gorgeous Grape oval with Snail

Then, add ovals to card front with Dimensionals
