To carry the summer theme to the inside of this card I stamped the inside with flowers and added a 1/2″ strip of designer paper to the left side.

What’s better on a summer card than a flower?! Maybe you didn’t even know you could stamp this in a way that would create a full flower instead of a ‘half bloom’ look?! It’s super easy and turned out great.
Always look at the Stampin’ Up! catalog for inspiration. This is my version of the artists card on page 112. I loved how they used Vellum Cardstock and I wanted to play with the Symmetrical Punch that came in my Bundle
On this summer card I stamped the large leaves then used my snips to cut them apart; this way I could stamp them wherever I wanted on the cardstock.
And we can’t let the designer paper be forgotten because it’s beautiful and simple to make a summer card with.
