5 Minute Card With Paper Scraps | How To Make Easy Greeting Cards

Easy Cards· Gallery· Mystery Stamping Cards

2 Jan

I love a 5-minute card that I can make with paper scraps! I’ll teach you how to make this greeting card and share sample ideas too.

If you’re feeling a little ’tilted’ after the holidays, especially New Year’s Eve then this card is perfect. This card is a bit whimsical but very easy! I actually have 2 versions to share with you that use the same Mystery Clues!

The gorgeous Fancy Flora 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (new to order starting 1/5/23) is the focus of this 5-minute card.

Love the Two-Tone Flora Stamp Set? You’ll want to grab the coordinating Two-Tone Flora dies too.

The sentiments on my card are from the complimentary bundle called ‘Something Fancy’.

This 5-minute card is a great way to use up scrap paper!

5 Minute Card Video Tutorial | Paper Scrap Card Idea

You can sort through your paper scraps, find some of your favorites and make this 5-minute card in no time. In fact, why don’t you pick an afternoon to make a stack of these for a variety of occasions? This way, you’ll have a greeting card ready to mail when you need to grab one.

Which designer paper will you choose to make your 5-minute card?

Adding a tag to the card front gives it more of a “gift” look!

Here is another 5-minute card with a completely different look. I made this the same way I did the first card except I added a strip of designer series paper on the left side. Same instructions but a very different card just by changing the paper and cardstock colors.

Love black and white designer paper? Grab it before it retires on 1/4/23. I am sad to see it go away because it is so fun to use.

The Greeting layer on this card was made with ‘Something Fancy’ dies & stamp set. To create the Real Red Mat I cut two of the dies out with Real Red Cardstock. Then, I used scissors to cut it in half and add those pieces to the back of the white stamped layer.

After seeing both cards can you see how Mystery Stampers can come up with very different-looking cards? No 2 cards are ever alike!
