4 Peaceful Card Ideas Using the Peaceful View Stamp Set

Beginning Stamping· Card Making Ideas· Card Making Techniques

15 Sep

Looking for fresh ideas with a big, bold background stamp? Let me introduce you to the Peaceful View Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up! This large, serene image featuring a tree, fence, and bird can fill an entire card front—or you can cut it down and use it as a peaceful focal point.

In this class, I’m sharing four creative ways to use this stamp set to create handmade cards that feel calm, thoughtful, and truly one-of-a-kind. I do have a FREE PDF below to help you remember these techniques!

Video Tutorial

Watch the video and learn how to stretch this single stamp set across multiple designs!

Why You’ll Love This Stamp Set

  • Versatile design: use it full-size or trim it down
  • Perfect for any occasion with your choice of sentiment
  • Beautiful details that really shine with dark ink colors
  • Works wonderfully with techniques like ink blending, spotlighting, and heat embossing

For this card, I used sponge daubers to add Garden Green ink to the leaves and grass. The bird was colored with a Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Write Marker, the fence was colored with Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker, and the tree trunk was also colored with Early Espresso, but I applied it with a Sponge Dauber!

Pro Tip:

Because this stamp is large and detailed, stamping with darker Classic Stampin’ Ink colors (like Starry Sky, Misty Moonlight, or Blackberry Bliss) brings out the full beauty of the scene.

A really fun way to use it is to stamp on Designer Series Paper, like the Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper, which makes this a very simple card that can be used for any occasion! Have several on hand for when you need a card!
