I’ve got 3 tulip greeting card ideas with ‘Timeless Tulips’ which is a new bundle in the 2020 mini catalog. I immediately thought of all sorts of ideas when I saw this cheery set. The card I’m showing you how to make today is a ‘get well card’ but I also have 2 birthday greeting card ideas to share with you too!
Yellow truly IS my favorite color, bright and cheery! It’s perfect to use as a get well soon card idea to brighten someone’s day!
The Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Stamp set combined with the Tulip Builder Punch makes this card very easy to make!
Timeless Tulips is one of those sets that meets my criteria when a new stamper asks me what they should buy…one with sentiments and images! When you own a set like this the possibilities are endless for greeting card ideas!
On my video I share a great tip on stamping the tulips and the leaves on a scrap piece of paper ~
Stamp 3 tulips on the left side of your scrap paper
Stamp 2 leaves on the right side of your scrap paper
This way when you punch the images out you will save paper and have little waste. A great tip for making greeting cards with this bundle!
Since black, yellow and white are so stunning together I kept on creating greeting card ideas using the Timeless Tulips! Let’s frame those Tulips! Below I used my favorite Rectangle Stitched Dies to create a frame around my tulips. You will have to cut the cardbase to the same size as the framelits so that you don’t have any Whisper White showing around them. The final size of the card will be about 3 1/2″ x 5″.
On this greeting card I used my favorite FREE Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper Black and White print. It really made a great background for my Daffodil Delight Tulips! Pulling in the Basic Black Cardstock Stitched Frame!
When I cut out the center of the above card I had a piece of Basic Black. I embossed it with the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder, matted it on Daffodil Delight cardstock and added a single Tulip on top. Really made the Yellow Tulip POP!
