I’m excited to share 2 simple greeting cards you can learn how to make quickly! These hand made thank you cards are bright, cheery, and so easy to make!
All of the Easy Peasy 1-2-3 cards I make easy enough for the beginner stamper but I add other elements of fun for more advanced card makers too. The 2 simple greeting cards I’ve got today work great for all skill levels.
Many times on YouTube videos someone comments on my clothes. So today I chose the colors that are in my sundress as the inspiration colors for this hand made thank you card! Balmy Blue, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green are the chosen colors.
Grab the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Chic stamp set and start by stamping the large fern in Granny Apple Green on a Whisper White Layer (3 3/4″ x 5″). Since my sundress had blue mostly I chose to use the bolder leaves with Balmy Blue after all my dress was the inspiration right?
Fill in the rest of this layer with the other leaves and flowers using the other colors. Ta-Da! You’ll have 2 simple greeting cards in no time!

Let’s step it up just a little and save some paper on these simple cards! I punched the whisper white card layer with the ‘Label Me Fancy’ Punch, then did the same stamping that I did on the first card. Next I punched the Melon Mambo layer with ‘Label Me Lovely’ Punch and used that to cover my holes on the Whisper White layer. Once you adhere the Whisper White and Melon Mambo together no one will ever know!

- Whisper White Thick Cardstock – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/2″
- Colored Cardstock – Balmy Blue and Melon Mambo – 4″ x 5 1/4″
