12 DIY Christmas Cards That Will Save You Time & Look Beautiful

Christmas Cards· Gallery

20 Oct

Let’s make 12 DIY Christmas cards that will save you time! Paper crafting holiday projects brings me such joy and I love sharing that joy with others. I have a lot of Christmas cards to DIY though so sometimes I need quick and easy cards.

At my October team meeting, Christine Wiseman shared this card layout idea; I was so inspired I had to make some too! The concept is to cut up 4 pieces of Designer Series Paper, and mix & match the patterns to make a bunch of cards quickly! It’s the perfect DIY Christmas Cards project, don’t you think?!

You can decorate your Christmas cards however you like–that’s the fun part! All of my cards look different even though the layout is the same. If you need to DIY Christmas cards (or cards for other occasions) in mass quantity this tutorial will be a lifesaver for you.

The key to making these cards quickly? Stack the Designer Series Paper (DSP) and cut them all at the same time, then stack them and add them to cardstock layers. Best to watch the video so you can see how it’s done.

Each month my team meets on Zoom for Team Time Together and I encourage everyone to share what they have been creating. Christine shared this idea as I mentioned before and Karen Nakayama shared a cute basket idea that I will be working on next. I will share the basket idea in the future.
