OMG! This is a shaker card tutorial too beautiful to resist!! I am excited to share this card making tutorial with you. Card making with shaker cards is fun!

Recently someone asked me if I made shaker cards and it made me realize that I haven’t made one in a long time!  Today, I am sharing three cards I made using the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies and Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Papers!

I’m so happy that I have the Peaceful Poppies Sequins– Squeal! Sequins are a must for this shaker card tutorial!

Which of these shaker cards was your favorite?

I chose to use the single Poppy Stamp for this shaker card tutorial.  Thinking that maybe you would not want to use a lot of sequins to make your Shaker Cards I chose Stitched Rectangle Dies that were smaller to make my frame.

Use Versamark and White Emboss Powder for the Sentiment.  Oh, the Sentiment is from Daisy Delight Stamp Set.  I love how big and bold it is.  I always need Thank you cards to send to you when you order from me!

Classic Basic Black for the frame really makes this card POP!  When you watch my video you will see my tip on lining up the Poppies!

They are colored with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends and stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Can you see the fun in this shaker card tutorial?  I held it up and shook it before I took the picture!

Let the gorgeous Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper be the star of this card!  I choose the largest Stitched Rectangle Frames to make the Gorgeous Grape Frame.  Don’t you think the dots on the paper help create the Shaker effect?

Shaker cards to me are like having a party in your craft world and when you send it to someone!  You will need the Foam Adhesive strips to create Shaker cards.  These long strips of foam help keep all of the sequins inside and they work so well because you can cut them with snips whenever you need to.

Notice how you don’t see my card base on this card?  I cut it down to fit the Rectangle Frame which is 3 3/4″ x 5 1/8″.
