Y’all ~ I’ve got a treat today with showing you how to make a mantel-worthy framed Christmas card that’s so fun and easy to make. This beautiful Christmas card will bring a smile to all but you know what else makes me smile? I made 3 other cards with this set today and let me tell you….this set is perfect for birthday cards as well!

You’ll have fun playing with the Snow Front stamp set again and again!  I paired the Christmas cards with the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set for the greeting on this framed Christmas card.

Mantel-Worthy Framed Christmas Card

Have I mentioned how much I love the Stitched Rectangle Frames to create these picture framed Christmas cards?!  The measurements for this card are simple:

  • Cherry Cobbler 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
  • Whisper White 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and 4″ x 5 1/4″ for the inside layer

Simply changing up the ribbon and what images I used to stamp both framed art cards turned out completely different!  The measurements for this card are the same as the one above:

  • Whisper White Thick 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
  • Whisper White 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and 4″ x 5 1/4″ for the inside layer

The Cherry Cobbler Diagonal Ribbon is simply stunning and worked perfect for several of my cards plus the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder.  This folder is truly overlooked as it is small image with the Monster Bash Suite but there is nothing scary about it!  The measurements for this one are

  • Cherry Cobbler 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″ and 3 5/8″ x 3 5/8″
  • (2) Whisper White 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″

Since two of my son-in-laws are hunters how about a Birthday card using Itty Bitty Birthdays?  This easy card is fun and will make them dream of seeing more deer than they could imagine.  The measurements for this card was:

  • Soft Suede 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
  • Garden Green 4″ x 5 1/4″ plus a scrap for circle
  • Whisper White 3 3/4″ x 5″ plus scrap for circle
  • I used Layering Circles for this card too

Funny story…I kept trying to stamp the deer and they weren’t stamping solid so I took out my Soft Suede marker and colored it!  Only to realize the deer was supposed to be like that!  Oh Goodness!

Sharing with you in case you feel the same way I did and if you want to borrow my idea!  LOL!
