We all know how it is when the holiday season is knocking on our door; we have a million things on our list so to make your card making easier I’m going to share how to make a Christmas card quick and easy!

I am using the Stampin’ Up! Merry Christmas to All bundle (page 5 in the Holiday catalog) and the brand new embossing folder called ‘Tin Tile Dynamic Embossing folder’ which can be found on page 43 of the Holiday catalog.

I’m so excited to share this beautiful embossing folder with you! This is the perfect DIY Christmas card to make for those last minute invites to party’s when you need a little something to take to the host/hostess, or for your child’s teacher, a neighbor….anyone really! They’ll see this card and then be asking YOU how to make a Christmas card!

For my card base I used the thick whisper white card stock with the standard size 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4. For my embossed layer I used the regular whisper white layer cut at 5 1/4 X 4 and then ran through the big shot. Since this embossing folder is a dynamic (i.e., thicker) folder you only need to use one clear plate when you run it through the big shot, instead of the usual two.

Of course this Christmas Card needed a glittery greeting or else how could I call it a greeting card?! So…I used the Merry Merlot glimmer paper (page 29 in the Holiday Catalog), and cut out the sentiment with the ‘Merry Christmas thinlet dies’. Don’t forget…when you order the bundle with the stamp set and the thinlets together you save 10%.

The glitter paper coupled with this gorgeous embossing folder give this card lots of pizzazz and shimmer!! The recipient will be impressed and asking you how to make a Christmas card of their own!
