Pocketful of Sunshine Copper screams Dazzle!  Copper foil and Copper Embossing Powder really says something when you use them on a card.  The Sentiment in this set is what inspired me to use the copper.  I could have used glimmer paper but since Copper is my go to I went with it.

I had to stamp the glasses on a piece of scratch paper to see what part of the image stamped and what didn’t.  Once I figured that out I stamped the glasses with Versamark Ink, then poured Copper Embossing Powder and heat set.  (Don’t forget to use your Embossing Buddy first before stamping)  Use the coordinating Pocket Framelits to cut out the sunglasses.

Stamp the stitching with Dapper Denim Ink make sure the ink is dry before you do the embossing steps.  Rub the Embossing Buddy over the pocket, stamp the brads with the circle image in the set with Versarmark Ink.  Stamp You Dazzle Me with Versarmark Ink, pour Copper Embossing Powder over the entire pocket then heat set.

I cut out the pocket using the blue sheet from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Papers.  After I did all of the stamping I attached it to the Copper Foil with Dimensionals.  They held the flaps down nicely so I didn’t use any additional adhesive.

Pocketful of Sunshine Copper Background

I hadn’t played with my New Dynamic Ruffled Textured Embossing Folder and decided to use it for the background.  I held this card up and tried every way I could to get a great picture of it because in person it is stunning!

For best results adhere this layer with Multipurpose Glue, it really gets into the grooves and prevents the card from falling apart.

See this angle looks like the background is gold!  Trust me…It’s Copper!
