Big Thank You with Great Big Greetings clearly says Thank You and I needed to make a Big Thank You card for someone who went out of their way for me! And how can you go wrong with pink and black? Almost as good together as yellow and black!
I had a chance to play with the Great Big Greetings set this week and I love the boldness of the stamps! Since they are photopolymer I did have a little trouble inking up this big stamp! (Sharon’s Tip: really grind that stamp pad into the stamp by twisting and turning the pad on the stamp facing upward so that you can see how it is inking. To finish the inking up process tap all over to remove the twist marks!)
Berry Burst cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Color Theory DSP: 5 1/2″ x 4″
Lemon Lime Twist: scrap for leaves
Powder Pink: scrap for flower
Ribbon: approximately 10-12″
Ink up the stamp with Basic Black Archival Ink by using my tip above for inking, Stamp onto the Color Theory DSP turning it so it fits and leaving enough room at the bottom to add your ribbon, flower and leaf
Use framelits to cut leaf out with Lemon Lime Twist, cut bottom leaves off so that it’s not so long
With the flower there are two framelits to cut the design and around the flower, place both together on the Powder Pink cardstock and run thru the Big Shot
Attach the leaves to the flower with a glue dot lining it up to one of the solid areas on the flower
Wrap Basic Black 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon around the DSP and adhere on the back with Snail
Add the flower and leaves to the card with glue dots
Place a Clear Faceted Gem in the center of the flower
