For this Triple Time Stamping Technique card I used the Flourishing Phrases Stamp set. I love this set and the coordinating framelits. I used it in one of my May Online Classes. It comes in either Wood Mount or Clear Mount bundles with the framelits.
Measurements for Triple Time Stamping
Daffodil Delight Card Base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Daffodil Delight Layers: 4 1/2 x 3 1/2″ and 3 1/2 x 2 1/4″
Whisper White Layers: 4 x 5 1/4:, 4 1/4 x 3, 3 1/4 x 3″
Center all of the Whisper White layers on top of each other. I used a glue dot to hold all of mine in place. I did use my fingers to get some of the stickiness off.
Stamp your sentiment on the smaller layer with Melon Mambo Ink. That way you have it in place before you begin stamping.
Stamp all of the images all around the sentiment as desired. I used Old Olive for my leaves and vines, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight for my flowers. Stamp so that you are stamping over all 3 layers of card stock. Don’t worry about the areas that the ink doesn’t get to. This is normal. The layers are keeping the stamp from being flat.
Gently separate all the layers and adhere Whisper White layers together to the Daffodil Delight layers with SNAIL Adhesive. Then add Dimensionals to the backs of the Daffodil Delights layers to give a lift to your cards!
Notice how the colored card stock hides the area where the ink didn’t take? It is almost like magic isn’t it?
Look what my friend made
Here is another card that my friend Connie made with the Triple Time Stamping Technique. So awesome how changing the ink colors and card stock that both cards look so different!
She added her sentiment layer on top using the Stitched Oval Framelits and she added some ribbon to hers. You can do your sentiment my way or her way. Both ways look fabulous!
I do hope you try this technique because it really is a fun one. I would love to hear your comments and see what you do!
