Wedding Dress Shopping in Charleston, SC with my daughter Whitney and some of her bridesmaids has been such fun and the memories will be cherished forever! We rented a cute house very close to the beach and it was perfect for the six of us. I felt very special since they gave me the master bedroom!
We have had the most amazing food here! I love seafood and every restaurant offers all types of savory dishes!
I flew in last Wednesday and spent the evening with Whitney and Tyler at their home. Then Tyler, my future son in law showed me around for two days while my daughter worked and I immediately fell in love with Charleston! My favorite thing was to take a carriage ride so I was able to see the architecture of this southern town up close!
Her bridesmaids arrived on Saturday so we had lunch and then we went to our first appointment was at 4:00.
So the question is Did She Say Yes to the Dress?
We had Wedding Dress appointments every day but we didn’t need the one on Monday because she found a dress on Sunday! You see all of these dresses and you try on the ones you think you like. But then when you find the right one you just know! Her dress is perfect for her! We all cried when she said this is it! The wedding will be in October and I can’t wait to come back to Charleston!
So today we will go shopping and see more of Charleston. We will be looking for a place to take some photos of Whitney and Tyler for the Save the Date cards.
I am honored they want me to take their pictures for the cards. I love taking pictures and the many options to take pictures here make my heart happy! I feel like it is time to pursue my dreams of being a professional photographer! So much so that I am looking a bigger cameras!
Thank you for letting me share a more personal blog post today and not just about stamping. The fact that I can work my stamp business and still have flexibility to take trips like this makes me even happier that I do what I do!
